Supply, fabrication, assembly and testing of Mobile Foam Trolley Unit designed for effective firefighting applications involving Class B fires (flammable liquids such as petrol, diesel, oils, solvents, and similar hazardous liquids).
The unit shall consist of the following major components:
1. Trolley Frame / Chassis:
- Heavy-duty trolley fabricated from high-quality Mild Steel (M.S.) sections
- Robust welded construction suitable for industrial/fire service use
- Mounted on strong wheels (suitable for rough surface movement)
- Designed for manual towing/handling
- Corrosion-resistant surface finish with proper anti-rust treatment and fire-red paint coating
2. Foam Storage Tank:
- Capacity: 200 Litres
- Material: Fiber Reinforced Plastic (FRP)
- Vertical or horizontal cylindrical design (as per manufacturer standard)
- Chemical-resistant and corrosion-proof construction suitable for AFFF foam concentrate storage
- Provided with inspection opening/manhole for filling and maintenance
- Outlet connection for foam discharge system
3. Inline Foam Inductor:
- Material: Aluminium Alloy body
- Designed for proportioning foam concentrate with water stream
- Flow capacity: 450 Litres Per Minute (LPM)
- Venturi-type induction system ensuring accurate foam mixing ratio
- Suitable for standard firefighting hose line integration
- Provided with inlet and outlet threaded/quick coupling arrangement (couplings excluded from supply)
4. Foam Branch Pipe (FB10 Type):
- Model: FB10 Foam Branch Pipe
- Designed for expansion and projection of finished foam solution
- Constructed from corrosion-resistant metal alloy/aluminium
- Suitable for medium expansion foam discharge
- Ergonomic handle for controlled operation
- Designed to produce stable foam stream for fire suppression
5. System Operation:
- Water supplied through fire pump line passes through inline inductor
- Foam concentrate is automatically inducted from FRP tank
- Mixed solution is discharged through FB10 branch pipe as finished foam
- Suitable for quick deployment in emergency fire conditions
