This JLD-manufactured Breathing Apparatus Set is an open-circuit, positive-pressure system designed to supply breathable air in hazardous atmospheres. It features a lightweight yet durable composite backplate and secure strong nylon harnesses for comfortable wear. The set includes essential components such as reducers to manage air pressure, a warning whistle to indicate low air, a rubber-shrouded pressure gauge for protection and easy reading, and a facepiece demand valve that delivers air on inhalation. The core of the system is a 6.8-liter, 300 bar composite cylinder, providing approximately 45 minutes of operational use. The set is equipped with a full face mask that meets the EN 136:1998 standard for respiratory protection. The connecting hoses adhere to SAE J 517 / EN 854 Standards and the complete apparatus is certified to EN 137:2006, a key European standard for self-contained breathing apparatus. This particular set is supplied without a box.
