AR-AFFF 3/6% is a specially formulated Alcohol Resistant Aqueous Film Forming Foam concentrate designed to combat Class B fires involving both hydrocarbon fuels and polar solvents (alcohols, ketones, etc.). It is used at a 3% concentration for hydrocarbon fires and 6% for polar solvent fires.
The foam forms an aqueous film on hydrocarbon fuels and a stable polymeric membrane on polar solvents, effectively suppressing vapors, cooling surfaces, and preventing re-ignition. AR-AFFF 3/6% is compatible with low and medium expansion foam equipment and proportioning systems.
The product conforms to IS:4989:2018 and is ISI Marked, supplied in robust 20-litre HDPE Jerry Cans for safe storage and handling.
